As a PDA, there are better options. As a GPS, it offers a lot, particularly for hand-held or automotive applications. It may even have a future as an aviation GPS - see what is going on at AnywhereMap. update AnywhereMap seems to still support the 310, as the ATC model (Anywhere Travel Companion), though I don't think they are still for sale. Apply power and wait for the keyboard icon to appear on the iPaq screen. One and possibly two top level folders are visible in a file browser when the iPaq is connected. One folder is named TFAT. If there is a second folder, an optional SD card is installed.
